Custom iPod Interface:

I have mounted a custom interface from my iPod to an iPod remote control and an audio mute switch for the head unit and audio connection to the x-over/mixer. These are mounted into the repurposed ash tray along with my blue-tooth phone system.

The iPod is located in the redesigned cassette box and connects via a standard iPod audio + serial control connection that feed into the box via a small hole in the base.

Here the iPod Audio & Control connection is shown in the armrest (cassette holder)

The other control box there is for the Smartire TPMS
